SEOUL FRIED CHICKEN

A custom mural designed to make a splash.

Client: Seoul Fried ChickenLocation: 10145 104 St NW, Edmonton, AlbertaProject Type: Hand painted muralsDate Completed: April 2022

Hand painted mural spread across main feature wall and up onto the bulkhead at Seoul Fried Chicken. Client requested the mural continue onto the bulkhead, include a rooster, have a monochromatic palette to reflect brand colours, and to pay homage to Korea and Korean folk art. Iconic buildings from Seoul Korea, cherry blossoms, and an ocean wave were incorporated to pay homage to Korea. The tiger chasing the rooster was inspired by traditional Korean folk art. From a far a whole image can be seen, but when seated on the bench a feeling of being immersed by the wave and buildings is created with the mural continuing onto the bulkhead.
