The Porsche Sportscar Together Fest 2021 was a three-day festival that ran from September 10th-12th and was held at the Indianapolis Speed Way in Indiana. This unique festival, hosted by Porsche, celebrated ‘car culture, on-track race action, and interactive experiences that highlighted the breadth of the brand’. For this project, the client requested a massive, interactive optical illusion chalk art installation highlighting the Porsche 911 Drip Car. The rest was left to my creative freedom. 

The 40 x 35 ft hand-drawn 3D street chalk art was inspired by the splashy, bright colours used in the Porsche 911 Drip Car. The optical illusion plays off of the idea that the Drip Car has ‘risen up’ on a platform from the colourful world beneath it — emerging from the world of ‘creativity’ and ‘imagination’ from which it was created. The Porsche 911 Drip Car is one of Porsche’s one-of-a-kind ‘art cars’. The art concept for this vinyl wrapped car was designed and produced by Porsche.
